朝日と夕日 / The rising sun and the sunset.
私の住処は諏訪湖の北岸にあり、勤め先は南岸に位置します。朝の出勤は諏訪湖の西岸に沿って車を走らせ、帰りは東岸沿いの道を選んで帰宅します。そうすると、今の季節、朝は昇ってくる朝日に向かって走り、夕は夕陽に向かって走ることになり、天気が良ければ、一日に二度、良い眺めが楽しめます。
ここは美しい町ですが、残念なことに、昨日、コロナウィルスの感染者が初めて確認されました。今日から学校が始業していることもあり、心配しています。

The apartment which I'm living in is located on the North shore of Lake Suwa, and my place of work is located on the South shore. I usually drive my car to the company along the East shore of the Lake in the morning, and choose the West road to come home. So, I drive my car toward the rising sun in the morning, and toward the sunset in the evening. I can enjoy a nice view twice a day if it is nice weather. 

It is a beautiful town, but, unfortunately, the first coronavirus case was confirmed yesterday in this area. Today, schools have opened after the spring vacation. We are worried about the spread of the virus.

  人の記憶や、大きく言って国の歴史などが、支配層に都合の悪いものとなった時、そういったものを無効化しようとして流布されるのが "newspeak" なのだろうと思います。今の日本はそうした自家撞着の語法で溢れていることを認識しておくべきです。 / When human memory, or , if we may say it exaggeratedly, the nation's history, becomes inconvenient for the rulers, "newspeak" is distributed for the invalidation of them.
